About Me
"I have a practice that treats a broad range of conditions which lead to temporary or permanent disability. Special interest has been the individualized treatment of strokes for rehabilitation and their subsequent outcome of maximizing functional independence.
As a Board Certified Physiatrist (physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist), I treat and guide the care for brain injured and spinal cord injured patients as well. I have special training in the treatment of spasticity management and have access to a wide range of ancillary services which can help foster independence.
I also offer specialized non-surgical care of sports injuries and injuries of the cervical and lumbar spine. My practice also includes a vast number of patients suffering from the post-polio syndrome, and I can provide up-to-date drug trials to improve function and fatigue. Exercise is the key component to all rehabilitation."
