Josh M Randall, MD

Dr. Josh M. Randall is a board-certified urologist with Orange County Urology Associates (OCUA). Dr. Randall, who is a California native, relocated to Orange County in 2004 and established a solo urology practice in Mission Viejo, California. He joined OCUA in January 2012. His primary office is located next to Mission Regional Hospital.

His main interests are in robotic/laparoscopic urologic surgery as well as treating urologic cancers such as prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular. He is trained in the latest techniques for the treatment of enlarged prostates (GreenLight™ laser), kidney stones, and female and male urinary incontinence. He also treats erectile dysfunction, female pelvic floor prolapse, and performs no-scalpel vasectomies.

Dr. Randall obtained his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at the University of California, San Diego. He graduated Summa Cum Laude, placing him in the top 2% of his graduating class.

He then obtained his medical degree from New York Medical College, where he graduated with honors in 1999. Dr. Randall completed his surgical internship (2000) and urologic residency training (2004) at the University of Miami - Jackson Memorial Hospital. It was there that he was exposed to a large volume of laparoscopic/minimally invasive surgery and female pelvic reconstruction cases. Dr. Randall is the author of several peer-reviewed journal articles and textbook chapters that address various urology topics.

Dr. Randall and his staff's philosophy is to treat every patient as if they were a family member. With a practice that sees men, women and children, Dr. Randall says building relationships and helping people heal is what he loves most about his profession.

Dr. Randall is happily married to his wife Cynthia, an oncology nurse. They met in Miami, where Cynthia was raised, while working together at the University of Miami. In his spare time, Dr. Randall enjoys playing golf, exercising, scuba diving, traveling and cooking.
