About Me
Dr. Audrey Mok is a board-certified ophthalmologist whose clinical and surgical expertise is focused on Oculoplastics and Neuroophthalmology. She strives to bring her patients excellent and compassionate care.
Dr. Mok's initial exposure to eye care started when she was a young child, when she realized that she could "actually see the leaves on the trees" after obtaining her first pair of glasses. She grew up in Cerritos, California and attended UCLA, where she graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Psychobiology. She obtained her medical degree at Georgetown University, completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and then completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary. Wishing to specialize further, she returned to California to complete a fellowship in Oculoplastics and Neuroophthalmology at the University of California - Irvine.
Through her training, she has been able to gain additional experience in medical and surgical treatments for patients with eyelid disorders, thyroid disease, strokes, and other neurological conditions that can affect eyesight. She also performs cosmetic procedures such as blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), Botox injections and soft-tissue fillers.
