Angel Stadium hosted a Pride Night on June 3, demonstrating the community's commitment to equality and support for the LGBTQ+ community. Special Pride Night packages were available, including an Angels Pride Night baseball cap, with the proceeds benefiting OC Pride, a local LGBTQ+ non-profit organization.

MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center’s participation in Pride Night highlights the collective dedication to creating an inclusive environment for all patients, employees, and community members. Alongside many other community organizations, MemorialCare employees set up booths and organized festivities in the stadium courtyard for Angels fans to interact with. By supporting events like Pride Night, MemorialCare champions equality and diversity, reinforcing its commitment to providing exceptional care that respects and honors every individual’s unique identity.

With MemorialCare being the official healthcare partner of Angels Baseball, the Long Beach Medical Center leadership team decided that when it was their turn to celebrate staff throughout MemorialCare their Length of Stay team was the perfect fit. The Length of Stay team is crucial in improving patient care and efficiency at Long Beach Medical Center, significantly reducing patient stay times, improving quality and enhancing overall patient satisfaction.
