12-year-old phenomenon Emma Manetta, Jr. Miss Southern California 2014, raised $12,150 for Orange Coast Medical Center Foundation for the fight against breast cancer.

With the help of her mom Shawna, a breast cancer survivor, Emma Manetta has hosted multiple community events and fundraisers, and has raised over $12,000 selling bracelets and t-shirts, collecting change and selling fabric squares that were sewn together to create an honor quilt which hangs on the wall directly across from the Breast Center. She was featured recently on CBS2 News where she shared her inspiring journey with reporter Michele Gile.

Emma Manetta is selling 2,555 paper butterflies to raise money for Orange Coast MemorialCare Breast Center. The number 2,555 represents the number of days that Medical Director of Breast Research, Dr. Bichlien Nguyen and the Orange Coast Medical Center Breast Cancer Center have kept her mom alive.
