Hamstring Pull
Hamstring pulls are often the result of excessive running or jumping, which can overextend the muscles in the back of your thigh and cause pain when you bend or straighten your legs. Bruising, tenderness and swelling may also be present with a hamstring injury.
If you are experiencing symptoms of a hamstring pull, contact one of our Primary Care Sports Medicine Physicians to make an appointment.
Most commonly found in sprinting, jumping or dancing.
