Second Annual Digital Health Awards Recognizes Top Performing Health Systems Paving the Way in Operational Efficiency, Patient Engagement, and Care Optimization
MemorialCare, a nationally recognized Southern California health system, has been awarded an AVIAward for Digital Transformation for Consumer and Patient Engagement Vanguard. AVIA, the nation’s leading healthcare digital transformation partner, announced this year’s award winners at its annual summit. The AVIAwards evaluate and rank health systems on core consumerism and virtual health performance metrics.

With two types of awards given out this year, AVIA – with the help of its Digital Innovation Leaders Steering Committee – assessed health systems using proprietary data about their use of digital health solutions that enable healthcare consumers to safely access care based on personal preferences. In addition to this data gleaned from the organization’s benchmarking survey, AVIA also measured deployment of solutions in other critical areas like operational efficiency and care optimization.
Over 35 health systems participated in the survey, representing more than 23 million unique patients and 12 million patient portal users.

The AVIAward for Digital Transformation winners were announced at the annual AVIA Network Summit, an invitation-only event held in Chicago focused on “Forging the Future of Healthcare.”
