Visiting Information
We welcome your visit with loved ones while they are staying at a MemorialCare Medical Center. To maintain the healthiest environment possible and to avoid infections please make sure that visitors with a fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat or other symptoms wait until they are completely well before visiting.
Visiting Hours
Long Beach Memorial Medical Center
- General visiting hours are from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM
- Intensive care visiting hours are 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Miller Children's Hospital Long Beach
- General visiting hours are from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM
- Intensive care units (PICU & NICU) are from 1:00 to 6:30 PM

Community Hospital Long Beach
- General visiting hours are from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Intensive care visiting hours are 24 hours a day, for 10-minute visits by immediate family only, except during 7:00-8:00 AM and 7:00-8:00 PM shift reports.
Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center
- General visiting hours are from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Saddleback Memorial Medical Center – Laguna Hills
- Visiting the Women's Hospital
- Visiting the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Medical & Surgical Units are from 1:00 to 8:00 PM
- Progressive and Intensive Care Units are 24 hours a day, with exceptions: no visitors from 6:00 to 9:00 AM and 6:00 to 7:45 PM
Saddleback Memorial Medical Center – San Clemente
- General visiting hours are from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Visiting Guidelines
- Only two visitors per patient are allowed in the room at one time.
- Out of respect for surgical patients in the waiting room, no food or drink is allowed.
- The family waiting area is equipped with televisions for family members.
- Only one visitor is allowed at a time in patient recovery.
- Cell phones are not allowed in the patient recovery area — they can be used in the waiting room.
- If you have completed and notarized forms (Advance Directives, Power of Attorney, or a Living Will) please bring them with you the day of your surgery.
- If no legal document is available, a surrogate decision maker will be assigned by the patient prior to surgery.
- For the safety of our patients, latex balloons are not permitted at the medical center.
- Visitors will be asked to leave during physicians' rounds and emergencies.
