Ultrasound

In addition to mammograms, your Breast Center health care provider may recommend a breast ultrasound. Ultrasound utilizes high-frequency sound waves to create an internal image of your breast. This screening allows our specialized physicians to get a closer look at the chest walls and breast lumps to detect causes of breast symptoms.

MRI

An MRI is a diagnostic test that uses a magnetic field and pulses of radio wave energy to provide pictures of your internal body. An MRI provides information that, in many cases, cannot be obtained from an X–ray, ultrasound or CT scan. Your MemorialCare health care provider can determine if an MRI is right for you.

Second-Opinion Program

Being diagnosed with breast cancer can be overwhelming and frightening.
