Azadeh "Azzie" Farin, MD

Dr. Azadeh Farin received her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, and completed residency training in General Surgery and Neurosurgery at the University of Southern California and was Neurosurgery Chief Resident.

She then completed a Fellowship in Complex Spinal Pathologies and Reconstruction at the University of San Francisco, Department of Neurosurgery. She focused on spinal tumors, deformities/scoliosis and degenerative disorders of the spine.

She has spoken on neurosurgical topics nationally and internationally, authored book chapters and contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications and literature in her field. Her research has involved topics ranging from traumatic brain injury to surgery for deformities and degenerative diseases of the spine.

Diagnosis and Treatments Provided:

Dr. Farin provides sub-specialization in the evaluation and treatment of disorders affecting the nervous system and offers state-of-the-art expert consultative, diagnostic and therapeutic services for a full range of neurosurgical conditions.

Her mission is to provide each patient with the best neurosurgical care available by combining her extensive experience with the latest advances in neurosurgery.

As a specialist, Dr. Farin may not be selected as a primary care physician. Dr. Farin accepts patients age 16 and over.
