Services available at the new Todd Cancer Pavilion

  • The Integrated Cancer Medicine Center will provide a broad array of services that will complement the standard treatment plan. This could include acupuncture, nutrition and supplement counseling, cooking classes, yoga, speech pathology, lebed exercise program, rehabilitation gym, lymphedema treatment program, career counseling, etc.
  • Named a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology, the breast center is dedicated to the early detection and accurate, timely diagnosis of breast cancer.
  • Leading edge cancer research where patients have access to the region's top cancer specialists with more than 30 years of clinical research experience and completion of more than 500 clinical trials.
  • A women's cancer center with physicians specializing in breast and gynecologic cancers allowing women to see their surgeon and medical oncologist in one visit.
  • The Cancer Risk and Prevention Program to evaluate and counsel patients on possible genetic factors of their cancer.
  • Centers specializing in lung cancer, colorectal cancer, urinary and prostate cancer, liver and pancreatic cancer all under one roof.
  • The Ambulatory Infusion Center where patients will receive their chemotherapy treatments in a spacious, patient focused environment complete with access to a roof top garden.
  • An expanded clinical research team to allow for easy consultation with patients and physicians, giving patients access to leading edge treatment and more than 100 ongoing cancer research protocols.
  • Concierge-like service provided by nurse navigators who will support patients and their families by relieving the burden of figuring out the health care system on their own. By providing this service, patients can concentrate on getting well rather than worrying about what happens next.
  • A multidisciplinary center with dedicated physicians and advanced technologies will focus on lung cancer, colorectal cancer, urinary and prostate cancer, liver and pancreatic cancer.
  • The psychosocial oncology team will be available to provide one-on-one counseling, family counseling, peer mentoring services and support groups. The team includes a life coach to teach patients guided imagery, relaxation techniques, mindful breathing, meditation and belief work. All of these techniques have been proven to reduce anxiety and to improve the quality of life for cancer patients.
  • All of these services will be provided in a new, modern healing environment, and most importantly, the pavilion will offer room to grow.
