ALERTS (ANGELMED FOR EARLY RECOGNITION AND TREATMENT OF STEMI) STUDY (586-08)
This study at Long Beach Memorial Heart & Vascular Institute is a multicenter research study to measure the effectiveness of the Angel Med Guardian System®, an investigational implantable cardiac monitoring and alerting system. This implantable system is designed to warn cardiac patients of potentially life-threatening heart conditions, alerting them to seek immediate medical attention by delivering vibratory, auditory and visual alerts. Open to enrollment. *Approved for extension 9/18/12*
