Women's Cardiovascular Risk Screening – $55

• Heart disease risk factor survey with report for each patient.
• Medical history.
• Family history.
• Physical exam—the exam focuses on the cardiovascular system, including an examination of the heart, lungs, and major blood vessels in the body.
• Blood pressure testing.
• Body Mass Index.
• Body fat analysis.
• Metabolic syndrome.
• Electrocardiagram.
• Depression risk assessment.
• Blood tests.
• Total cholesterol.
• HDL or “good” cholesterol.
• LDL or “bad” cholesterol.
• Triglycerides.
• Glucose (blood sugar).
• Physician referral as needed.
• Follow-up report and phone calls.

Screening Results
Following the screening, an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) will share your physical examination and test results with you. An individualized treatment plan that may include referrals to a cardiologist, or additional cardiac testing will also be provided. In addition, custom recommendations for preventive healthy lifestyle changes will be provided by the APN.

Depending on unique needs, recommendations may include:

• Blood pressure management through nutrition, exercise and medication.
• Cholesterol management through nutrition, supplements and medication.
• Blood sugar (diabetes) management through nutrition, exercise and medication.
• Personalized exercise prescription.
• Heart healthy eating plan.
• Smoking cessation advice.
• Weight management programs.
• Stress management techniques.

Additional Cardiac Tests Recommended for Women:

• If your initial evaluation indicates that you may be at "intermediate or high-risk" for heart disease.
• If you already know that you are at risk for heart disease and would like medical advice on managing your personal risk factors.
• If you have a metabolic syndrome or one or two major risk factors for heart disease.

• Fasting Lipid Profile.
• C-reactive protein.
• Homocysteine.
• Hemoglobin A1C.
