Dr. Warren has been a practicing internist and cardiologist in the Long Beach/Bixby Knolls area since 1976. His special areas of interest include cardiac rehabilitation following open heart surgery; hypertensive heart disease, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes, and their adverse effects on the heart and circulation; and the intensive medical management of patients with congestive heart failure.

Over the past twenty six years, Dr. Warren has served as a member of the Memorial Heart Institute Board of Directors, Quality Assurance Committee and the Credentials Committee. He believes that the future of cardiology lies in curing atherosclerosis, hypertension and diabetes mellitus. Good cardiac health requires teamwork, a healthy diet, regular exercise and avoidance of cigarette smoking.
