Richard Enns, MD, hails from Printicton, a small town in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. After obtaining his medical degree at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Dr. Enns came to Long Beach Memorial for an internship. "I qualified for Family Medicine Board Certification by a grandfather clause and completing all the needed education requirements by 1978. I was in the last year of training to qualify for obtaining board certification in this way and so I was not required to do a residency program." Dr. Enns returned to Penticton where he practiced medicine for four months, before deciding to return to Southern California in 1975.
Dr. Enns is board certified in Family Medicine and is also a certified HIV care provider. |
