We invite people of all ages; senior and retirees we have exciting opportunities in our Volunteer Department to keep you active, energized, and socially networked. Volunteers are valued members of our health care team at Long Beach Memorial and Miller Children's Hospital Long Beach. Come join us and learn new skills while helping others.

General Adult Volunteers

We welcome volunteers who can commit to volunteer for at least 6 months and who want to help us discharge patients, deliver flowers, answer telephones, escort patients and guests to various hospital locations and other tasks in our Service Room and Errand & Escort Office.

Teen Volunteers (Volunteens)

Our Volunteen program is for high school students ages 15 - 18. Our summer session begins on May 14, 2010. Please contact Christina or Ingrid at 562-933-1624 on May 1-14 to RSVP for orientation on May 14. We will accept a prescribed number of teens who will be chosen on a first come basis. A 3.0 grade point average is required.

We are presently recruiting volunteers to work in our Service Room and our Errands and Escort Office.
