According to the National Research Corporation, MemorialCare Medical Centers are among the most preferred hospitals in the communities they serve.
Why the preference for MemorialCare?
- Outstanding Doctors – Many physicians practicing at MemorialCare Medical Centers are members of the MemorialCare Physician Society. These doctors agree to pursue best practice medicine — those tests and treatments that are proven to be most effective.
- Highly-Regarded Staff Members – More than 9,000 dedicated individuals are part of the MemorialCare team. These individuals include dedicated nurses, pharmacists, technicians and other health care experts who prefer to work at MemorialCare because of our reputation for putting patients first.
- Focus on Customer Service – We believe that every health care experience is important. That’s why we continually assess our service to patients and their families, and we work to make improvements wherever necessary.
- Our Patients Tell Us We Make a Difference – Our best endorsements are from patients themselves.
The MemorialCare Difference
Our Medical Information and Access Card keeps vital emergency information all on one small card. Our patients also told us they want to keep vital medical information close at hand. That’s why we developed the Medical Information and Access Card. It’s a free service to our community members. Signing up for a card is easy. You can also order cards for every family member, and you can update the information whenever it changes.
Our Patient Folders help patients stay informed and increase patient satisfaction. We believe in simplifying the patient experience. That’s why MemorialCare has adopted The Patient Folder, a simple carry-all for all your important hospital papers. The folder is provided to all hospitalized patients upon admission.
We developed the folder in response to our patients’ suggestions. Our patients told us that they receive so much information before leaving the hospital, they wanted to make sure they didn’t lose any important papers.
Included in the folder are education materials that are important for a patient’s treatment and recovery, including patient’s diagnosis, treatments, medications and discharge instructions. Documents given to a patient from admission to discharge, and even during physician office visits before or after discharge may be kept in one place.
Patient Satisfaction Survey
Patient satisfaction is a top priority for MemorialCare. We would like every patient and family member to have a favorable experience and we strive to create an optimal environment for healing. We value our patients’ opinions and welcome their comments.
Patients are randomly selected by an independent survey vendor to participate in our patient experience survey. Your feed back is important and used to improve the care provided at MemorialCare hospitals.
