WiiHAB Championship Gives Back to Traumatic Injury PatientsDescription: Long Beach Memorial will be holding its fourth annual WiiHAB Championship on Monday, July 15. WiiHAB explores the use of the Nintendo Wii® system as a tool for rehabilitation in occupational therapy and physical therapy for patients who have been injured or have had a traumatic incident. Physicians and patients will compete in virtual Nintendo Wii® Sports and play on competitive teams to reach fundraising goals. Each physician/patient team raises money through online giving pages and then squares off in a tournament-style Nintendo Wii® competition to play games of tennis, golf and bowling. Proceeds from the event go towards purchasing new equipment and further program development for the MemorialCare Rehabilitation Institute at Long Beach Memorial. Who Should Attend: All
