For Lily and Mikayla of Laguna Niguel, philanthropy starts early. For the past few months, these sisters have hosted lemonade stands and snack booths on their block to make some extra cash. As their piggy banks filled, they considered what they would do with the money. It was then that Lily and Mikayla came to the Orange Coast Medical Center Foundation and proudly handed over a purple purse filled with cash and coins to donate to the hospital.
These extraordinary girls, ages seven and ten, came to this impressive decision all on their own.
“I am donating money because of all the sick people in the world,” Mikayla stated.
