WOMEN’S GUILD CELEBRATES WELLNESS AT 15th ANNUAL CONFERENCE

The Women’s Guild at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center-San Clemente’s 15th Annual Wellness Conference is honored to present noted speaker and author, Edward Taub, MD, FAAP. Dr. Taub is a wellness pioneer who founded Integrative Medicine with his presentation to the Institute of Medicine in 1980, entitled: “A Biosocial and Psychospiritual Approach to Health and Healing.” He has authored or co-authored 8 books on wellness and Integrative Medicine. “Balance your Body, Balance your Life,” (Simon & Shuster), was made into a national PBS special, and “The Wellness Solution” (World Almanac Publishing), was co-authored with Dr. Ferid Murad, a Nobel Prize Laureate. Dr. Taub’s current book, “Stress in Today’s World (Readers Digest Publishers) is the basis for this presentation. A complementary book with its accompanying CD of “Emergency Stress Meditations,” will be distributed to all attendees.

The Women’s Guild at Saddleback Memorial in San Clemente is a non-profit organization that serves to promote the health, education, and welfare of the communities of San Clemente, Dana Point, and San Juan Capistrano.
