Saddleback Memorial Medical Center Appoints new Chief Financial Officer

LAGUNA HILLS, Calif.—Saddleback Memorial Medical Center has announced the hiring of Adolfo Chanez as the new chief financial officer. He will oversee financial operations including financial reporting, budgeting, patient business services, and medical records management.

Most recently Chanez was senior vice president/chief financial officer at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach. Prior to that he was employed as corporate vice president at MemorialCare and chief financial officer at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, a sister hospital to Saddleback Memorial.

Chanez serves as Vice Chair on the Board of the Private Essential Access Community Hospitals (“PEACH”) organization, a state-wide hospital advocacy organization. He received his bachelor degree in business administration from Loyola Marymount University and holds a California CPA license.

A resident of Placentia in Orange County, in his spare time Chanez enjoys marathon running, golf, outdoor activities and spending time with his wife, grown children and grandchildren.
