Miller Children’s Hospital
Miller Children’s Hospital, located next to Long Beach Memorial, provides a caring environment where all services are especially focused on meeting the unique health care needs of children and families. Miller Children’s offers family-centered care. It is home to one of the largest neonatal intensive care units in California, treating more high-risk infants daily than any other hospital in Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego counties. The pediatric intensive care unit provides comprehensive care for the most serious pediatric cases, many of which come to the hospital through the region’s only pediatric trauma center. In addition, Miller Children’s cares for expectant mothers in the Center for Women, many of whom are high-risk. To meet the growing needs of the community Miller Children’s Hospital is expanding.
