Dr. Wass' strong desire to keep the whole family healthy was a big part of why he chose a career in family medicine. His philosophy is to treat the whole person, physically and emotionally, not just the ailments and symptoms. He is always grateful for the opportunity to oversee his patient's general well-being as well as guide and support them through a sometimes difficult journey of recovery.

Participation in high school and college sports influenced his interest in sports medicine. He is board certified in family medicine and currently serves as a team physician for the University High School football team in Irvine.

In his free time, Dr. Wass says he is getting a whole new perspective on life and health from his two small children. He also enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and following European soccer.
